Ideal Candidates Will Have

The Daily Caller is looking for an E-Commerce Manager to build on our already successful affiliate business and work with our analytics, editorial, product, and business teams to develop and sell new e-commerce products and maximize our revenue.

We’re seeking an e-commerce expert to help us build a successful business over the coming years. You’re self-motivated with a keen business sense and ready to manage partnerships and partners that drive revenue through selling of products on our store. You have a keen understanding of the technical aspects of linking, tracking and affiliate relationships. You’ll be responsible for white-labeling new products as well as managing third party logistics related to warehousing and shipping of those products, and will help guide the strategic decision making that will grow the e-commerce business.

In This Role You’ll

  • Serve as a point of contact for inbound and outbound project needs for our affiliate content network and store
  • Develop and negotiate new partnerships with wholesalers and white-label new products
  • Use your customer-facing skills to lead partners effectively through every phase of partnership from ideations through execution, management, and reporting
  • Optimize the revenue and KPIs of commerce content

The Daily Caller  is seeking a whip-smart, lightning-fast video editor who can churn out thousands of hours of entertainment. The job entails managing content on one of the country’s most-read news sites from our Washington, D.C. headquarters.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Basic experience with video/audio production
  • Operational knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite — Premiere, Photoshop and After Effects
  • Ability to operate in a deadline-heavy news environment

Product Reviewer

Do you have a passion for products? Do you spend your free time combing the internet for the best deals out there? The Daily Caller, a 24-hour online news publication founded by Tucker Carlson and Neil Patel, is looking for writers to grow its commerce team, the Daily Dealer.

The ideal candidate will be a strong writer with keen research skills and the ability to communicate the pros and cons of certain products in a compelling and informative manner. Daily Dealer writers should also have a budding curiosity about the growing world of e-commerce and a desire to understand what drives online shopping behavior, as well as how to tailor content to fit audience needs.

We are especially looking for writers with an interest in reviewing home appliances and furniture and/or outdoor equipment.

Fact Check Editor

The Daily Caller is accepting resumes for a full-time fact check editor to work out of our Washington, D.C. headquarters. TheDC fact check team finds and evaluates the false, misleading and sometimes surprising claims made by political figures.

A candidate for this role must be a speedy and competent copy editor, with an understanding of AP style, capable of editing news stories for accuracy and readability. He or she must also have excellent attention to detail and a desire to consider issues from both sides.

The candidate must have excellent news judgment, with an eye for what stories will draw incredible amounts of interest. He or she must also know how to optimize content to attract visitors from a variety of sources – including search engines and social media.

The candidate should have a strong knowledge of U.S. policy and politics, in addition to having a great eye for potential fact checks.

The candidate will also be expected to occasionally write and report interesting fact check stories in a clear and concise manner. Most importantly, the candidate should enjoy working in an irreverent and fast-moving atmosphere.

At least two to five years of professional journalism experience is preferred, but not required.

The ideal candidate will be a strong writer with keen research skills and the ability to effectively communicate complex policy. The candidate must also have excellent news judgment, with an eye for what stories will draw incredible amounts of public interest. The reporting fellowship is two-years long, and reporters will attend weekly lectures with leaders from around Washington and the country to learn the skills necessary to succeed in journalism.
